April in Door County means Walleye season! We are in full Walleye mode and they have been biting. This is probably one of the best months to be fishing for Walleyes in Door County. Our Walleyes on the Bay of Green Bay are Pre Spawn and Hungry! We have been fishing near Sturgeon Bay, and Oconto WI. Walleyes are any where from 5-35 feet of water on the bay. If you would like to book a Walleye trip in the coming weeks, please contact as soon as we do not have many openings left for spring Walleye fishing in Door County.
May Smallmouth are also right around the corner and will be here before we know it. Bass on the Bay of Green Bay will also be Pre-Spawn for an extended period of time and will also be found in very shallow water along the Door County peninsula from Sturgeon bay, Egg Harbor, Fish Creek, Ephraim to Sister Bay! Small Mouth Bass season on the bay is one of our favorite times of the year! If you would like to book a Small Mouth Bass trip, please contact us!
Summer King Salmon on the Lake Michigan side will also be here soon! These trips are based out of Baileys Harbor. Our salmon schedule fills up fast as these are peak tourist months here in Door County.
