These past two weeks, we have still been running salmon charter fishing trips daily out of Bailey's Harbor in Door County Wisconsin! It is safe to say it has been one of the better years for salmon as we are still catching lots of king salmon and rainbow trout. Our water temperatures this time of year have been changing from very warm to very cold depending on the wind directions and currents. With this being the case, we have been searching for the coldest water we can find, and staying in that area which usually will be where the fish are. We are also fishing different ranges of depths from 70ft of water all the way out to 250ft depending on the day and the water temperatures. This week has been great fishing as the last three days have not been windy at all which allowed our water temps to stay cold and set up good for a while! We brought in several limits of fish with many big mature four year olds mixed in! We still have several trip availability's open for the month of August to get out and see what this salmon fishing is all about!
