Hope you all are having a nice winter and are staying warm! We are doing a lot of off season maintenance on our boats and getting them ready for a very busy 2025 season here in Door County.
With the weather finally breaking a little bit we have certainly seen an increase in bookings here. our April walleye schedule is almost completely full! April is a one of the best times of year to Walleye fish on the bay of Green Bay. The fish are all pre spawn and the biggest they will be all year! And very good numbers of fish as well. May smallmouth should also be very good this year. These cold winters set that bite up better and help pro long it into may more. That bite is also similar to the walleye bite, pre spawn and big fish!
June July and August Salmon are also not far off! That schedule is always busy as that is peak tourist season here in Door County. Those are great family trips and are always a good time! Fresh Lake Michigan Salmon is also very hard to beat!
During the winter months, Spenser also does a few other things when he has time. One of those being he get a chance to go through all the photos from the season and over the years. This year and last year he was featured on the cover of the legendary magazine In-Fisherman. In-Fisherman has been around since 1975 when the Linder brothers started it. Very cool accomplishment for him as he grew up reading this magazine as a very young boy dreaming about fishing!
